White Fish Fry

April 9th, Monday:

  • Midakusan Soup (Sweet Potato, Tofu, Fettuccine Konnyaku, Carrot, Onion, Burdock)
  • Simmered Squid and Daikon Radish (Squid, White Radish)
  • White Fish Fry
  • Rice
  • Milk

Notes: Squid has zinc which prevents a loss of taste. Squid ink, which is also delicious to eat, was used in olden times as writing ink. The sepia in “sepia-coloured” comes from squid.
