Shoyu Ramen

May 10th, Thursday:

  • Shoyu Vegetable Ramen (Pork, Bean Sprout, Chinese Cabbage, Bamboo Shoot, Green Onion, Carrot)
  • Milk
  • Scallop Dumplings
  • Pineapple Yogurt

The pineapple gets it’s name from “pine” (a tree) and “apple” (a fruit), because it’s shape resembles a pine cone. In Japan, they are mostly grown in Okinawa Prefecture.

Opinion:  There is nothing to dislike about this lunch. Shoyu is delicious and I am a great fan of bamboo shoots. Scallop dumplings were innocuous, and one can hardly go wrong with pineapple yogurt.
